H&A BIOGROPHY
H&A Dress to impress is a clothing line made for men and women who love style and wear it
with class.
The Brand was officially launched in June 2012. That is when the business duo, Husna Tandika
and Athumani I. Nzowa decided to take the fashion passion into business.
The designs of H & A are stylish, trendy and authentic. The brand combines modern and
traditional styles. Form-fitting cut, quality materials, unique prints and details that add
fashionable accents make H & A designs.
Dress to Impress is the motto we ensure that clients wear what fits an occasion and he or she
will look the best among all.
H & A Dress to Impress has participated in various fashion shows, as per below breakdown
from year 2013:
1. December 2013: Swahili Fashion Week 2013 (20 outfits showcased female / male);
2. May 2014: Launching of H&A brand Fashion Show (18 outfits showcased female/male);
3. August 2014: Makhenzi Fashion Show (20 outfits showcased female/ male);
4. September 2014: Brewskies Entertainment Launching Night (20 outfits showcased female /
male);
5. October 2014: Uglow Double Tree Fashion Night (5 outfits showcased female only, where we
had the chance to have dressed Miss Tanzania 2013).
6. December 2014: Swahili Fashion Week 2014 (20 outfits showcased female – and won The
Best Upcoming Designer of the Year);
7. June 2015: Stara Fashion Night (10 modest female designs);
8. December 2015: Swahili Fashion Week 2015 (20 outfits showcased female);
Through our design experience, have dressed several celebrities including Ezden and Teejay of
the One Tv Show, Jokate Mwegelo on Redds Miss Tanzania 2014, Lorraine Clement Marriot
contestant of Miss Grand International 2013, Happiness Watimanywa Miss Tanzania 2013,
Sarah Raqey CEO of The Terrace Lounge, Marybeth Lady Haha, a Tv Personality who presented
at the Red Carpet KILI Awards 2015, and many others.
Our market not only focuses on local clients, we also have clients from United States of
America, United Kingdom, Italy and Ivory Coast.
The majority of materials used for the production are sourced in Dar es Salaam, Kigoma, Congo
Ivory Coast and India. The selection of suppliers is based on highest product quality and
standards, which requires the use of precise production techniques at the manufacturing
company. In addition to the quality of the goods produced, the fabric patterns, colors and
designs are also part of the selection.
In 2015 the brand has been officially registered under a limited company named STILE and
opened its flagship store, located in Kinondoni Area (Kinondoni Shamba, House Number 72).
STILE Limited has also extended its activity into the beauty side, being endorsed by Shear
Illusions Tanzania. As well as into commercial photography it has a brand named mani24. The
brand Mani24 works on fashion and beauty photography, events, family and corporate
portraits, artistic photography, models and fashion designers portfolio, vehicle and scenery
photography to name few.

Asalaam aleykum.My name is Mahamisha habib popular known as tz abaya fashion designer i was born in July 9th, 1991. I Competed my first degree of mass communication in 2014 at Muslim university of morogoro. I become in love with fashion when I was in primary school where I was started to ketch outfits on papers and sewing clothes for my dolls. It was hard for people to understand me and the designing spiritual didn't end up there...during my college life i was so inspired in modesty fashion as i was studying in a islamic university i come up with idea of selling hijjabs,abaya n fashionable bracelet watches. When I completed my degree I was just at home so i started doing door to door business on July 2014 for months then I was able to open my shop at tabata on November 2014. It wasn't an easy task since it was my first time to do business but I thank God I manage it.
During same year I manage to introduce my brand as tz abaya fashion design. Where I continue to add my fashion empire on my brand expanding on customizing abaya and designing. And selling brand of high profile designers such as Gucci, louisvutton, Marilyn Monroe, Christian Dior,Gucci,versace,fendi and channel. Which helped me to advertise my brand and to promote my business.
On may 2015 I was able to design my own outfits designs which was showcased on stara fashion show. Which was my first time runaway show. Honestly this helped to have courage of being recognized of what as an upcoming islamic designer in my business and fashion career as a fashion designer I hope to continue impressing the world of fashion in modesty way in Tanzania as i stay focus on my dreams of becoming an important designer in Tanzania and moving modesty in miles.
