Maxi skirt: long and lean is newer -- presenting yet another alternative in a season of options..

Keeping up with the fashion pack isn't easy. Just when you think you have it together, the tastemakers throw a monkey wrench and assorted nuts and bolts onto a suit and call it high style. These are particularly difficult times for the modest woman who wants to keep in step.

While women are willing to give the long, narrow skirt a try, you already have it in must do list. Style is about luxury, warmth and beauty. Femininity has returned to the world of women's fashion, and designers are celebrating it with sumptuous looks.  Perhaps you’d like to be in step with a new fashion but have been defeated by how to rock them long skirt.

Here's some advice for office dressing.. a long dress can be just as feminine and flattering as a mini. Make sure the cut is tailored, rather than casual, and the fabric is not too sheer. Then take care with your accessories. They should be well-coordinated.

It's no secret that the maxi skirt is hands down one of the most comfortable staples in our closets, right? But often times they seem so one dimensional. Here is a trick; Make sure your maxi is structured, rolling all the way down to your ankle to the floor.

Mixing different styles and breaking the rules is part of what makes style so much fun! So change up a delicate, feminine maxi by swapping your strappy heels for a We get it—sometimes maxis just feel like something Grandma would wear. One of the easiest ways to make sure it doesn't feel dowdy is to go with an eye-popping print.  Remember, the trick to pulling off this look is to pair one bold larger print, with something smaller and busier.

You might as well like to try animal prints.. sometimes, leopard is a great middle ground. After all, it's a neutral—and is an easy way to feel super chic, yet modest at the same time.
Ballet flats can easily take an ensemble from fabulous to frumpy if worn with the wrong outfit, but a pointed toe has a little more sophistication to make it just right.

Stay away from tight maxis in ultra-thin, clingy material—they show everything. No matter how many squats you're doing in the gym, those skirts are never flattering! Nor modesty, daaaahhh!! As a rule of thumb, if you get a line from your underwear or from tucking in your shirt, put it back on the rack!
